Chris Batten & The Woods blasted on to the NJ scene in 2004, injected their Americana Rock/Soul sound into the punk clubs and hardcore basement shows of the day. They quickly rose to becoming one of New Jersey's premiere acts, taking their show on the road up and down the east coast with the likes of Pete Yorn, Dropkick Murphys and others. After putting out 4 successful EPs, The Woods took a break in 2010, while Chris embarked on a string of solo acoustic dates, re-imagining crowd favorites and
writing new material.

In 2013 Chris re-established the Woods with an all new lineup, new tunes, fan favorites and a fresh take on their vision of soul infused rock n' roll. Catch a show soon and wear the CB&TW badge proudly.
